I wonder if Baz will actually buy Oblivion? I'm guessing he's going for Gears of War? You may get some co-op action with him. Just keep thinking about G's failed 360 skam ;]
It's actually quite painful not being able to play Zelda at the moment. Although I'm going to have to get a new cube on eBay first - could be a crucial bit of timing on my part. There's no way I'm loading Zelda for the first time in B&W!

He mentioned both Oblivion and Gears of War! I was chatting with him in a post office queue so time was short. He's giving himself two and half weeks holiday - the students get less than that! Hmm, I just can't see it myself, Barry and Oblivion, perhaps it's time to ring Grant and leave anonymous phone messages that Barry has 360 + Oblivion. Mwhahahahaha. You can beat this, dude, just play Baldur's Gate and squint at the screen ... I mean it's almost Zelda, well ... without the fishing ... erm and everything.  Perhaps you can train E to be Navi and say things like "There's washing up to do near Death Mountain"  |

Heh, although Grunt might just be too bitter if that deal fell through. Oops, I just bought a US Gamecube on eBay for 22 quid. So hopefully I should be playing Zelda in the middle of January and I'll have all the other games before that. Hmm, I think you're right about needing another telly! Also, we have a dishwasher; trying to do any washing up is an achievement at the moment. ;]  Soon, it will be mine. |

It looks really rubbish. ;D Well you certainly can't attach the Gamecube to a dishwasher! £22, eh? I guess it must be a good time to buy 2nd hand consoles, just before xmas, selling the kid's Camecube for drugs... Wait a sec, where do find the energy or time to do anything?! I mean, you have a full time start early job, you walk to work in the freezing cold, you have a girlfriend who needs servicing - or whatever it is partners need, you have to battle through grocery shopping in an alien land, surely there's no time for all this nonsense? Knowing the Grunt's luck he's probably got two X-box 360's by now ... maybe Lisa has sold their next child ... |

On the GameCube? MarioKart on the N64 is ace.  Which character do you like playing? On gamecube ;D I am never quick enough to be able to choose any characters, the boys just whizz through them and I end up stuck with whatever's left. I used to be the mushroom thing but there doesn't seem to be one on gamecube. |

The man in game was speculating on the driving system for MarioKart- I think we all need bigger houses! Ah, BG, definitely more fun when you level up. I'm still wondering what it would be like to play without the expansion pack. I seem to have lost the main quest and keep getting obliterated in new areas. Battle Horrors?! Durlag's Tower?! I'm not ready!  I'm wondering if that's my trouble in Morrowind as well. Too much choice! (Freedom! Horrible Freedom!) ;D I caught my boss Pat playing Space Invaders at the project yesterday! Hee hee. ;D |

Yay! Quake 2! Frag them Strogs! I think it's bundled in with reduced price Quake 4 at the moment, so maybe I might just have to get it ... (or maybe I should complete Far Cry first? ... nah, that's never going to happen!) I've bought Pro Pinball for the project (99p Sainsbury's, claims it'll run on XP). So I might just have to playtest that for a bit. |
