Heh people never went on the rides I made on there, they were 'ultra extreme' Same! Okay, now you guys are scaring me (again). Zoo Tycoon? I think we have a couple of copies at the project. It's out really cheap on the red Extreme label I think (I picked up one for 99p from Sainsbury's)

Well, it's black and white.
It's has occasional lines on certain textures due to the Americanness of our TV.
It's bloody beautiful. I'm slightly more cynical towards its slight: "It's Ocarina with better graphics", as it's possibly not as brave as Wind Waker.
Then the child smiles at me or the dog follows me around the room wanting to be picked up, or the absolute beauty of the environment overwhelms and the usual friends reappear (those Dodongo's are useless at protecting their mines!), so I fall in love all over again.
Must get an American cube ASAP!

It was nice knowing DAT500. He's gone to a better place now. *Begrudging admits quietly ...* Tinks, I wish the girls my age were as cool as you. "And stay down, bitch!" ;D

Hehe I was rubbish at first when doing catch the flag, I would get the other teams flag and be running round having no idea where to return the flag so my team mate would have to tell me where to go!

I guess that's useful. It does rather sound too like Ocarina, but Ocarina was a good game. Bought Piglet's Big Game for the project, it went down a storm with one of the members. Also acquired The Hobbit - graphically reminiscent of Banjo Kazooee - tis a strange one, haven't got very far.

Also acquired The Hobbit - graphically reminiscent of Banjo Kazooee - tis a strange one, haven't got very far. I forgot to tell you that there's a street in Fort Collins called 'Hobbit Street' or something like that. I've got over the whole 'it's just Ocarina', as although it follows the classic Zelda template (although the Shadow World gives it a more Majora art design), it is quite different in places. The general level of awe is in the scale and the beauty - it also runs like a dream on the cube, no idea about the wii version, but I've read that the only graphical difference is the fact that the wii can display in widescreen. Anyway, according to the USPS tracking number my US cube is in Fort Collins so hopefully it should be delivered by the time I come home.

Hobbit Street!? Nah, you kid me like man who pull leg. ;D I want photos! Oh, you know me, I have to say these things because I might not play it for a couple of years. The second hand cube is slipping down my immediate desires list. I seem to have so many cool games that I'm just not playing. I hope you've got the cube. How does E feel about becoming a cube-window?

I have 40 minutes before I can leave work. The cube has been delivered according to the USPS website.

Yes it did arrive, but unfortunately most of my 1st-Pary Ninty games don't work with my copy of Freeloader. I can play Resident Evil 4 and many others, but no Zelda, Mario. Hopefully if I buy another copy of Freeloader from the US it should solve the problem - although at this rate I'll end up tracking down an NTSC copy of Twilight Princess just to see its lovely colours. The platinum controller that came with the cube is nice though.
Of course my US copy of Animal Crossing works, ;]

WHAT!? This is just getting silly. Ah, Animal Crossing. You have my permission to demolish my vermin-infested house - if you're still using that village.

Incidentally, one of the comps I was looking at on dA offered some Zelda stuff as prizes.

That's interesting - I wonder if DA supply the prizes (along with the subscriptions) I think I'll just let you enter (wouldn't want to cramp your style )

You didn't steal him from me, I never knew him before, just heard about the competition from a list somewhere in the bowels of deviantART. There's some damn fine entries already (e.g. www.deviantart.com/deviation/46059997/ ) I don't think I know any of the games well enough to compete.

Mmm but the humour derives from knowing them well enough. Or at least knowing the characters. List me a list of Nintendo games?
