Have left a note on the court's communal post box (where they would have to post a missed delivery slip), saying "YODEL - please leave parcel with Mankind" (Mankind is the barbers next door to the entry to my courtyard). Have also managed to track the parcel online, and it says it was loaded onto the courier's van at 8.52am today. It's not clear whether they will attempt to deliver to me or to Mankind. I'm so wound up about the whole thing I am popping the lorazepam like smarties. Can't relax til parcel is in my own hands.

Barber Phil knocked on my door with parcel at about 1.30pm. I'm going to give them a couple of bottles of nice red wine for christmas with a thank you card for all the parcels they take in for me. Very relieved about this particular one. *aaannnd breathe*

I know, it's such a huge relief too, after such hassles. I told barber Phil what was in the parcel, and he was very impressed.

Lots of little worries and grumbles - trying to withhold rants and sarcastic asides (not always helpful when trying not to scare new staff!)

f?cking DWP sending scary letter to me telling me they are going to phone me about changing my Incapacity Benefit and Income Support over to Employment and Support Allowance. Been dreading this letter for about 2 years and it arrived this morning.

Oh goodness Darkness, I wish you luck and send you positive thoughts!!!
Bloody benefits.
I'm sick of them stressing out the vulnerable...bloody spongers are to blame, if people would stop taking benefits they don't deserve people like you wouldn't have to stress/worry so much!!!
What is the difference may I ask? I know ESA you have to sometimes go to classes or something to help you get employment?

|
|
Post by Darkness on Dec 1, 2012 21:28:36 GMT
Yes, on ESA they put you into a work experience type group, or if you really can't work they put you into the 'support group'. ESA replaces the benefits you're already on, except DLA, which is going to go through its own changes soon. All very scary.

Oh yeah PIP or something ridiculous.
I hope everything goes okay...I know they need to get rid of the spongers but they are risking everyone else too.
If it wasn't for my Faith I'd be having a nervous breakdown right now...I know people laugh at me due to my belief in God but I swear only thing stopping me from jumping out this window is Faith that deep down everything happens for a reason.

I lost my faith about 10 years ago, but I did used to read the Bible and go to a local church. I remember often saying to myself "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength" - it's from right at the end of Phillipians, I think.

Eep! Stop, that. *forum bursts into flames of damnation* I don't mind the God stuff, it's the self esteem which scares me.

I hate spatial methods.
Especially remote sensing. I don't get it, am I supposed to be able to work out the answer from the different colours as they all look the same to me.

SLEEP!!!
It is so f?cking rare these days (proper sleep, anyway), that I have decided to just not go to bed. I only have nightmares when I get to sleep anyway. So I'm staying up. I might try and catch a few zzz's later on today (Tuesday), but for now, I have no intention of going to bed.
Of course, I might feel different in a couple of hours. We'll see...

Sick of scare mongerers.
CCTV = spies
Anything to do with chemistry/long words = cancer
Newspapers = we are all going to die
Then when it comes to real issues like inequality and destroying the Earth it is "not really happening" lol

For a rant about the water trying to flood our house via the BT lines, see my tumblr. I'm in so much pain. So so much pain. We've been bailing and doing all sorts. My body is just not up to this stuff. And no one is willing to help us. We've just been left to keep trying to keep it out. No attempt at fixing the problem. No attempt to provide help. Just platitudes and nonsense. And so my mother and I have spent all freaking day doing this shit and it's making me (more) ill.

Now that's interesting because my BT line has been almost totally disabled by the rain. But, Jesus, that sounds awful,

Thanks GK It's still ongoing but the siphon is controlling it so we haven't had to do the bailing and stuff.

I'm so dizzy, so exhausted, so sick, so ughughughughhh all sorts of things. AND I DON'T WALK IN SNOW. Ok. Because I'm like a 90 year old woman and when I am this ill I don't feel safe walking anyway and I NEVER feel safe walking in snow and I really do need to go to the shop so I'm going to have to walk in the snow and also not pass out or throw up or anything so that'll be fun and FML, basically.

Me too, I was having a nice laugh today thinking that this may indeed may make my GP's day by triggering ME. Which I currently refuse to believe I have but seen as it is also called post viral fatigue I may be in luck. lol
