I'm really lucky *for bloody once* that Nortriptolyene (20mg currently) has basically helped my fatigue A LOT without highly tedious side affects.

Honestly, I feel it getting its iron grip on me as been out of pills for a week.

Yes, I am naughty but tbh the reason is I've moved house I've been away blah de blah. No excuse really. But sometimes I think I'm testing myself as I say I have fatigue syndrome and because the pills work I convince myself I've made it up. lol

Pain wise...still working on that. Probably need anti-convulsants or something as I'd rather avoid being addicted to pain killers as none of the common ones do jack shit for me other than make me wreathe in pain stomach wise on top of the other pain. lol

The only thing that helps my pain so far is weirdly enough...exercise. I know they recommend it for fibro for this reason. Well by help I mean it takes the pain down from like 10 to 7. lol

Steve sent me an email on Friday tro ask if I could see Shaun this afternoon (Monday). I replied, saying yes, and asked if Steve would be with him as I've never met Shaun before. I also asked what time they would be coming.

Been up since early today, checking my emails, sitting with the phone, and have left two urgent messages on the answer phone at Steve's office base.

He hasn't bothered to get back to me. RAAAAAHHHHH!!!! It's made me so upset and frustrated and nervous because I don't know what's happening.

Is this a mental health facility you use? If so they should be more understanding and not be ignorant. And not just expect you to turn up and see some complete random without an introduction first.

One bright side was that it was at home...no traipsing around goodness knows where just to be let down. Not that it makes it much better waiting at home! Like when you are waiting for deliveries and stuff, hate that shit. lol

Tis a little known fact that most network "testing" goes on between 1am and 3am. No-one knows why....

Today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday) my new boiler was due to be installed. I got up at 6am and had a shower. Boiler and parts due to be delivered 7am-9am. Sat by window to see if anyone was coming and to make sure neighbours weren't ignoring my note on the gate not to close it. British Gas engineer due at 9am. He arrived at 8.45am. The boiler and parts didn't arrive til after him, at about 9am. Anyway, all is ok, I now thought.

Engineer says he is concerned that the flue for the new boiler will have to go through a metal RSJ/bit of wall. Could cause tens of thousands of pounds damage if it goes wrong. He doesn't want to start the job without a builder seeing it. He knows a local builder - he calls him then goes out to sit it his van. An hour later, builder arrives and the two of them stand outside surveying it etc. Then they do the same from inside the kitchen.

Builder says is too risky, shouldn't be touched. Engineer apologises, says he can't fit the boiler today. Says his manager will phone me later on to make other arrangements, including picking up the large boxes, pipes and other items in the middle of my living room floor. They both leave.

No idea what's going on. May not be able to fit a new boiler, according to engineer. Just got to wait for manager to phone me.

Manager has just been around. Apologised. Said they'll try again with a different boiler in a few weeks. Well yippadeedoodar.

FEW WEEKS?!!?

Do you currently have a working boiler? Or do they expect you to freeze to death? - not sure if your boiler runs the central heating like ours does.

It's a combi boiler, so does central heating and hot water. My old one is still just about working though is very old and sometimes the on light flickers and there are other problems with it too. No thermostat, heating comes on too when I only need hot water, etc.

Anyway, they phoned this evening and are delivering a different and (so they say) more flexible boiler next Thursday, and will install it the weekend after this. So, could be worse, but in the meantime I have a tiny house filled with a large box of useless boiler and associated pipes, bag of parts, bricks, bag of sand cement and bag of brick mortar, etc. Still very pissed off.

Why can't they take the useless doesn't fit boiler away today?

It kind of reminds me when we had new gutters we had gutters with asbestos previously highly dangerous blah de blah. They left it outside the house in a bright red bag for weeks.

Why do workmen think it's normal to knock on doors and start random jobs without warning at 8.30 am?
Gas workmen ... (totally separate from the guys who are changing my meter this afternoon - these ones have been digging up the street and swapping over supply to new pipes)
I think they also turned off or triggered a circuit trip switch which meant suddenly all of my plugs stopped working. d'oh. Unless it's a freaky coincidence...

People can wear whatever they want, just because they may wear short skirts or tan themselves or GOD FORBID show any flesh whatsoever or something DOES NOT MEAN the deserve being used or violated or whatever.

Second team of engineers came yesterday to fit second boiler. Turns out they can't fit this one, either. Well, they could, but they'd have to put it in my bedroom, then drill holes through my bedroom floor, and through my living room ceiling, and then through the wall into my kitchen, to connect with gas pipes there. There is no way I am well enough to cope with this. They said their manager will phone me on Monday. I'm going to pull out, and ask them to take the second boiler away. I'll also demand my £266 deposit back, on the grounds that they did not adequately survey the job to be done and have caused me so much upheaval, etc. I am now hoping and praying that my old boiler will keep working. So sick of all of it. Want it all to be over.

At no point can you speak to a human being. The phone goes dead, or the computer says can't help you.

This is a parcel containing £150 worth of Star Wars Lego goodness for our beloved GK - a lot of money - I don't want this parcel to be lost.

Went onto Amazon help pages, requested a phonecall. Lovely Scottish lady phoned me immediately. Arranged for parcel to be delivered to my neighbour (a barbers' shop) tomorrow.

I get very anxious on the phone, so this was a really HUGE deal for me. We have yet to see if this was successful. Have to wait and see if they deliver my parcel tomorrow.

Got an email from Amazon to say they have changed the address for the parcel and it will go to my neighbours.

Then got a later email saying Yodel have located my parcel and it will be delivered to my house. Fuckers. They won't be able to access my house due to the locked gate to the courtyard on which I live. Can't leave the gate open because of my other 4 neighbours.

Am really worried this parcel is going to get lost somewhere.
