Barny - that's it! ID chipping pets. Those magnetic catflaps are a nightmare. Well, there are a couple of problems with the new catflap. For one, the development kit that I forgot to give back to the shining and lovely people at TI costs about 700 quid! The other is that I can't remember how to copy the software onto the unit itself; I have to leave the pc connected to the cat flap if the cat and rabbit are going to get in. Hmm... Maybe I could network it.... Ew! The rabbit used to do that on the sofa! |

It's mum and dad ringing me on a mobile from Central Park, New York!  Cool! What have they been up to? I know a couple of bars full of guys who think they're Irish and are a treat to wind up! On a more mature level, there's a brilliant brew pub called 'Heartlands' that does marvelous food. Oh and there's a warship moored on the Hudson full of old warplanes, which is pretty cool. Are they vegetarian? If not, the Market Diner or the Comfort Diner are utterly brilliant places to have breakfast. Or they could try Katz's Deli, where they could recreate the, ahem, 'panting' scene from When Harry Met Sally (it was filmed there). Er, maybe not... The Staten Island Ferry is a good a way to spend a dollar as I cen think of. |

But no doubt father will have discovered something that he thinks is hip and happening in a way that is so early eighties (qv UB40 concert ...) |

nothing of any interest to be honest! sorry for random pictures of mine appearing in your photo bucket account, i tried doing a thread referring to my red dress (that i had to take back *sob* cos the ball wasn't on ) but my little blonde brain couldn't get it to work so i gave up. before i took it back to the shop i did some cam whoring while i still had it, hence random photo. anything happening in GK world? |
