response to worried looking cat postIt's the expression our cat's going to be wearing tomorrow. She's getting a visit from these furry little sods: Toffee, the one of the left, is apparently spaniel royalty. Which probably explains the dribbling, lunacy and inappropriate public humping....

Just got back from seeing REM at the City Ground. 'Twas Ms Juno's first gig. Quite how she's managed to make it to 26 without seeing a single live band is a mystery to me...

Hey dudes - sorry didn't log in yesterday (at mum's - trying to be economic) Minotaur is safe and well despite being a Londoner. Resisting urge to ring all relatives and create worry. Small numbers. - stats are evil.

London recovers pretty fast - was just saying on the phone that - they sort of just pick up and keep going. So you just cant tell if things will be cancelled or not. _ I finally gave in and starting ringing and emailing but I'm fairly positive that folks I know and am related to are/will be stuck in offices / commuter trouble. I'm finding the threads on NSHN a bit morbid - what do people think they can do when they're on a forum? - if I didn't know better I'd say they were enjoying the crisis - something to get really upset over (had a panicked text from R2Q - and she's in the West Country) hmm. Oh well. Hugs all around Chins up! Dunkirk Spirit.

(ps. Thinking of you all ) Hey Barny - I dont think I've ever been to a proper big concert - a few small gigs and some fancy stuff and plenty of theatre. Hope she had fun.

i would love to see REM! i think its pretty cool that i went to a concert with 80 000 people at the young age of 15 and 5 days. something to tell the grandkids re london: also finding nshn threads both unhelpful and slightly upsetting. the slagging off of politicians, who are trying their best to calm the country down, is unecessary. and i think they are handling the situation pretty well to be honest! like GK said ^^ it would appear they are enjoying the crisis

Was meant to be going to London with 6th form on monday... Don't let it put you off from coming to London. Honestly, it is fine. There isn't any hysteria or panic here, people are just getting on with it.

Yo Minotaur! (Screw the OU! ) Thanks Joanna, recently I've had the feeling I'm so out of tune with the way people think on NSHN - (I'm kind of preparing one of those "What Nshn needs" speeches ... and then try and leave for good - they are an official charity but so amateur grrr). But I'll save it for now. (getting obsessed again will save it for VP as well maybe)

Hmm - cautious precautions - too many of those then the terrorists have won (not wanting to sound like Thatcher at the height of IRA bombings *spits*) Better that your safe and bored, than in London being scared yokels __ Evil Mr TMC just cut me off. Hairbrushes are essential. Remind me never to leave home without my fave hairbrush again. Some of the plants here are fakes - its a test! Cats seem real enough ...
