Being listened to. It unnerves me when people LOOK, and generally I'm not saying anything that interesting anyway.
email or snail mail?
Post by Darkness on Jan 20, 2009 20:56:18 GMT
Tough one, because email is quicker and I'm impatient, but getting letters that aren't bills is so nice. OK - snail mail. Being thought of as crazy or boring?
Post by lollipop on Feb 15, 2009 22:45:24 GMT
Crazy, I guess, because at least people want to spend time with you. (I'm thinking of crazy as "a little unhinged" here, not "sociopathic", because if people know you're a sociopath they probably don't want to spend time with you.)
Realising you've put off milk in your tea/coffee or realising you've put salt in something instead of sugar?
Post by Darkness on Feb 16, 2009 0:53:29 GMT
Put off milk in tea, cos it's probably quicker to make another cup of tea than re-do baking or whatever...
Stand-up comedy or sit-coms?
Post by lollipop on Feb 16, 2009 12:35:57 GMT
Stand-up - you can enjoy it without having seen the rest of the series.
Drinking a hot drink you've left to go cold or eating (hot) food that's gone cold?
Post by Darkness on Feb 16, 2009 15:00:39 GMT
Hot food that's gone cold, not sure why, think I just prefer cold food to hot anyway.
Hot chocolate or chocolate milkshake?
Post by lollipop on Feb 16, 2009 21:28:12 GMT
Chocolate milkshake right now but ask me again another day and you'd probably get a different answer!
Sitting next to people who smell of BO or who smell of farts?
Post by Darkness on Feb 16, 2009 23:01:18 GMT
Farts, cos at least it might dissipate, but both are gross.

running a few minutes late or being very very early?
Post by lollipop on Feb 17, 2009 18:12:53 GMT
Few minutes late, unless it's something really important (like an exam or a flight) where you can't afford to be late.
Being the only one late and the whole group waits for you, or being part of the whole group that has kept one person waiting by themselves?
Post by Darkness on Feb 17, 2009 19:31:39 GMT
The latter, cos the guilt would be too much for keeping others waiting and I'd be too scared they'd go without me, too.
Blonde or brunette?
Post by lollipop on Feb 18, 2009 20:12:50 GMT
What about the guilt of one person being left waiting on their own?
Brunette.
Chess or darts?
Post by Darkness on Feb 18, 2009 21:53:25 GMT

Falling over in the street or crashing into someone when you're running somewhere?
Post by Darkness on Mar 3, 2009 21:04:59 GMT
Crashing into someone when running - at least can apologise and run off again and they won't just stare at you like you're stupid. I hate falling over in front of people.

Almond Milk or Hazelnut Milk?
Post by Darkness on Oct 17, 2009 21:07:54 GMT
I'd guess at almond milk because I prefer almonds to hazelnuts, but being a cow's milk drinker I really wouldn't know.
X Factor or Strictly Come Dancing?

Ancient Egypt or Ancient Celtic?

Post by Darkness on Oct 18, 2009 11:24:30 GMT
Ancient Celtic - prettier designs.
washing up or drying?
Post by Goblin King on Oct 18, 2009 22:27:40 GMT
Washing, - yeah right. - prefer that to drying because often I can't trust my tea towels (at home or work) to be clean. I'm a draining kind of guy. No wait, that doesn't sound right. Day time TV or day time radio?
