Rucksack. (incidentally, has anyone ever heard of a haversack? I get the mickey taken out of me whenever I call it that!)
Text or call?
Post by Darkness on Oct 29, 2008 12:23:38 GMT
Call - although this is a difficult one for me - I get a bit freaked out by phones, but don't like texts as it means having to keep my mobile on, and also I'm crap at keeping things to a few words. (Evidently. ) Puddles or ice/frost?
Post by Goblin King on Nov 15, 2008 22:08:32 GMT
Puddles - easier not to slip and die on.
A busy corridor or a busy market place?
Post by Darkness on Nov 15, 2008 22:52:41 GMT
A busy corridor - fewer variables, fewer people can completely surround you, and can cower against the wall with hands over face if it all goes too wrong.
Being accosted in the street for cash by chuggers or tramps?
Post by Goblin King on Nov 16, 2008 14:15:37 GMT
Chuggers, easier to wave away without anything too random happening.
Hot latte or cold tea?
Post by Darkness on Nov 16, 2008 16:16:25 GMT
Hot latte. Cold tea is AWFUL.
Latte or strong black filter coffee?
Post by Goblin King on Nov 16, 2008 16:59:07 GMT
Latte, less stomach ulcers and teeth staining.
Stubble or bushy beard?
Post by Darkness on Nov 16, 2008 18:40:40 GMT
Stubble. Whilst I still don't like it, at least there is less chance of icky things lurking in it. You know - crumbs, lice, that kind of thing.
Clock - digital or round face with numbers (analogue?)
Post by Goblin King on Nov 17, 2008 21:34:31 GMT
Mmm, beard lice, yummy.
Analogue - especially when represented on a graphical display (something wonderfully anachronistic about it)
Black cat or tabby cat?
Post by Darkness on Nov 17, 2008 22:03:06 GMT
Tabby cat. Just call me Mildred Hubble.* (*Mildred Hubble - title character from Jill Murphy's series of books: "The Worst Witch". She's a student witch at Miss Cackle's academy, and she's a bit rubbish at everything. They ran out of black cats, too, so when she was given hers, they had to give her a tabby. ) Ginger tabby or grey tabby?
Post by Goblin King on Nov 20, 2008 0:31:15 GMT
Damn, now I have to admit to liking mutt cats - ginger tabby of course! ;D

Post by Darkness on Nov 20, 2008 0:34:07 GMT
Box set, if I can hold out that long, waiting. I sometimes can't...

Post by Thrin on Nov 26, 2008 22:12:10 GMT
Argh. Dentist I think. It says something that I'd rather the drill than being forced to sit in front of a mirror and make small talk for an hour...
Wispa or Aero?
Post by Darkness on Nov 27, 2008 9:40:37 GMT
Aero, especially the mint ones.
And I totally agree about the hairdresser thing.

Being accosted in the street for cash by chuggers or tramps? What are chuggers? Box set, if I can hold out that long, waiting. I sometimes can't... I read that as box sex And dusting. The room feels more dirty when it's dusty than when the floor's mank.

^^Chuggers = charity muggers: the people in the street who try to mug you for your details so that you end up giving £2 a month to each and every charity in existence.

Sorry! I forget how this game works!
Heating broken - doesn't work (like mine is atm, it's f?cking freezing!) OR Heating broken - won't switch off (so you die a sweltery death)
Post by Darkness on Dec 11, 2008 0:56:14 GMT
Heating not working - can go elsewhere and 'borrow' other people's heating, or just wear LOTS of clothes all at once.
Needing to lose weight or to gain weight?
Post by Darkness on Dec 19, 2008 17:25:57 GMT
I'd rather have to gain weight. Either is hard, though.
Reading books in hardback or paperback?
Post by lollipop on Dec 20, 2008 17:47:14 GMT
Sorry, last question a bit too close to home for me Paperback, you don't have to worry about "oh, I can't take them on the train/plane because they're too heavy". Red or white white? (or rosé?) (Sorry, boring question )
Post by Darkness on Dec 20, 2008 21:45:33 GMT
Red or rosé, I think. Although crisp cold white is good in summer. Tea or coffee? (basic, boring, but important! )

Tea! ;D
Pot plants or bunches of (cut) flowers?
Post by Darkness on Dec 21, 2008 15:26:58 GMT
Bunches of cut flowers - cos they're supposed to die at some point anyway, so I feel less of a failure. ;D
