What!? Dictators can't fail! They have to become deposed! I've been playing that HeroQuest game Rob/dk posted the links for. I now have to test some disks - I just have to install the Sims ....

Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars

"Thanks. You speak very good English for an American."

Ha ha, the American tourist gags are great in Broken Sword. I'm stuck in the version of the GBA. Confession: (partly influenced by recent chat with Alex) - I've bought Medieval Total War + Viking Expansion for £10 (and ignored the fact that there's a bumper pack out with all the Total War games and expansions). The problem now is that I'm frightened to install it because I know I'll start playing it and then I'll look up and it'll be the year 2025 or something.

My computer is still fairly new, and I'm not running the seriously graphical Rome: Total War (which DAT500 had to explain to me again last night - because I get all sorts of games confused)
I'm having fun with the last battle on the tutorial at the moment (although I am a bit impatient with tutorials) Where's me trebuchet catapult thingy? Hee hee.

You were right about those sound effects Alex. Euw. Oh well, if that's how the enemy must die then so be it. I can't believe I'm actually using strategy. High ground, pincer movements. I mean, this is me, the guy who had to be told to use side-stepping in first person shooters ...

Now, you know you mentioned needing a decent computer ...? There was quite a good support forum (the link is on the Total War website) Damn, it's addictive.

You must teach me all about these games sometime - I have a feeling I may be asked to do workshop on it in the future. By "On-line Games" I'm absolutely sure the project doesn't mean Half-Life and Doom 3. They seem to think I know about all this stuff. Yes, I know, first I would have to go on MSN ...

When I was younger if I didn't know what a word meant I'd go and look it up in a dictionary. The effort that took meant I'd always remember the meaning.
