Affair is such specific word. It's unfortunate that you had to find out this way.

^ Hmm, I've only listened to it once, but the jury's still definitely out for me. After I listened to it, I started listening to Boys for Pele on my Amazon Cloud last night and everything about that album just feels huge compared to her latest. Still, it's early days, I'll probably completely change my mind next time.

Abbey Road is such a strange album. Good, but strange,

I'm slowly starting getting used to Unrepentant Geraldines, and I think it's gradually growing on me. Not immediately satisfying, but I'm keeping on with it.

An album of songs with Megan Wyler singing. She did the Just Cant Get Enough cover on the Sainsbury's advert, so now I don't know whether most of her sons are actually covers or not. Should this matter?

Seeing as I was unaware of his passing last Thursday (I blame our first parents' evening and purchasing a new car) I'm rectifying this by playing his CD:

I decided, on Sunday evening, that lots of very very cheesey cheese should be heard. I started with the first 2 Spice Girls cds. Then I moved on and had a full on, four cd long, S Club party, in my room. Yes, I am ashamed.

I'm slowly starting getting used to Unrepentant Geraldines, and I think it's gradually growing on me. Not immediately satisfying, but I'm keeping on with it. Yeah, I took it with me when I drove to Oxford last week and it's certainly grown on me. The main problem I have, which I've had with Tori Amos since Scarlet's Walk, is that her album's are too long and there's always a bit of filler on them - except for Night of Hunters which is easily her best album for yonks. I've been listening to this a lot, the video makes me very happy. It reminds me of GK and myself going on those, "we'll just go out for one", tea-time drinking sessions. I miss the joy of that, but not the localness of it all. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU-Qw8gR9HMY'see, GK we should have just got pissed all around the world for our existential travelogue!
