This is strange, because I used to like lettuce . Maybe it's true - the fatter I get the more averse I become to the healthy foods. Still like cherry tomatoes. They have purpose . Self confident little minxes!

I have decided I like those little gem heart lettuces after having a sandwich with so leaves in, last week. Iceberg lettuce is a waste of time.

I object! Lettuce adds delicious crunch to burgers. Only iceberg lettuce is really worth having though. Don't see the point of all that leafy stuff.
Edit: I just realised that there was more to this conversation than I initially saw, but I stand by my comments.

Ok, I call a truce on the lettuces wars. Both sides make excellent points.

I made dinner, right, from scratch and stuff, right, and I offered some to brother, right, because he was there, right, and HE COMPLIMENTED IT It was nice. It was linguine (because I felt I deserved nice pasta I really love linguine it has more bite than spaghetti and this is very important I know I sound pretentious but I'm right) with tomatoey thing that had onions and garlic and peppers and chickpeas and kidney beans and fresh basil. And there are two portions in the freezer to eat another day BUT THE REASON I REALLY CAME INTO THIS THREAD was to question why they sell stalkless cherries. Like they put it on the package like it's a selling point. Cherries sans stalks. But really it just provides a wound in the cherry where spores can get it AND MAKE IT MOULDY. Is it like they're mechanically harvested or something and so lose their stalks? (the cheap offering cherries tend to be 'stalkless' hence I ponder...) AND of course you then don't have a cherry stalk to show how good a kisser you are. So you just have to show people by kissing them! Dreadful. (I don't know where I am anymore?)

Mexican restaurant last night - Cactus Cafe - my favourite restaurant in town. £30 for a meal for two, and we were totally stuffed. Nachos with dips and melted cheese, spinach and feta burritos with rice and beans, and choice of various deserts. Can't beat it.

^ I lived on that shit when I was in my completely unable to eat solids phase. The vanilla one is also pleasant.

It's also one of the cheapest products in the gluten-free section. I'm sure Merf would appreciate that (except the fact that it's chocolate...) I may have to try the vanilla if I see it).

Yeah, it's easier to eat on this ward, can handle actual meals, trying really hard to be less bulimia-ky but it's swings and roundabouts. Also, it's an all female ward so there is much more knowledge and awareness and understanding of eating disorders in general.

Cider. The passionfruit and apple cider that my friends Alice and Ellie got me for my birthday last year. I don't drink often. This is delicious though.

can you imagine if the tea wasn't endless though? If there were a finite number of cups of tea to be had and each time you drank a cup you moved closer to that terrible day when There Is No More Tea.
