Muffin has just made a joke about zimmer-frames for hobbits!  How rude! ___ Mum had got me and my brother a Spongebob cake but Chris has ended up taking it back with him (and besides - all the candles would ruin it ) He seemed well. It was his birthday too. |

Heh, heh, please tell me more about older people ... ;D Orla rang me just now to sing a strange version of Happy Birthday with animals and something about being born in a zoo (I reckon she had a cruel childhood ) - I'd gone back to bed and was very sleepy so she asks "Are you half-asleep or half awake?" which is extremely confusing when you're not alert! However I plan to ask this question of sleepy people in future.  |

Hey tigger and bex! Thanks lolli Toby and Claire made a real fuss of me. Almost too much fuss! Fortunately it was interspersed with the needs of children. I now feel like a sort of uncle, attending families for dinner and making up stories about what I did in the Gulf War ... It was Toby's birthday earlier this month so we had champagne - felt right posh it did. ;D |
