my mum has fed me the same chinese meal for 3 nights in a row. surely there wasn't THAT much left over?!
is there such a thing as vegetarian jelly? i loved the stuff before i converted and it's the only thing i miss.

There is - the dilute blocks stuff isn't as good but I reccomend Rowntrees tubs of jelly - they're veggie - I dont eat them much - but I remeber being surprised that it was okay. Sainsbury's were always very good for providing alternatives to things like gelatine and suet and other evil ingrediants that even carnivores have never heard of.

In terms of 'evil', gelatine is probably only as evil as, say, milk... Everytime you drink, oooh, lets say a chocolate milkshake, you might as well be hammering the nails into the veal crate yourself.....

*nod* that's why I think it's pointless to stop eating meat because it is 'cruel' but still have dairy products and eggs and wear leather. No point being half a vegetarian.

You'd have to cut out most, if not all wheat products too. I don't imagine that combine harvesters are particularly kind to the various scurrying creatures that live in wheat fields. *goes back to munching blue whale & foie gras burger*

Did I mention the breadmaker I got for my birthday? I asked for a Dodge Viper with a boot full of drugs and booze and hookers, but sadly Argos had run out. Here's a sandwich made with bread made with my breadmaker, if you see what I mean.
