I think I'm back! 
*hurling brass levers and adjusting gauges, gusts of steam*
We have the power to rebuild everything, but it may take a while. The old hard drive was unrecoverable - so I've lost quite a bit of stuff which I had built up over the last three months. Most of the pain is in email account settings, things like that. Blah.
Some emails which I thought were being forwarded to my yahoo account have been lost - links, phone numbers.
Games -all those saves!
Graphics! (Thank the lord I'm a post whore)
Need to reacquired installations (so much to download again - so many disks to borrow) ha.
The good news is that my 200 gig hard drive has been replaced with a 250gig hard drive (although it looks closer to 230) phenomenal size for a small goblin like me.
Nearly a week offline and I'm still catching up with loads of stuff so please bear with me.
