I must say, I am feeling quite festive, which is most unusual. Maybe it's because nearly all the doors on my advent calendar are open and there's a big pile of presents in the next room to here. Christmas is usually a very hard time, but hopefully this year might be different. Dare I say it?? OK, here goes ..... HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!.

Merry Christmas all!
I've already received presents from Alice and Danny... and Christmas started today because we brought out the nuts with shells on. There's a huge stack of presents wrapped in Private Eye in my room... And the random token presents from ma's colleagues are starting to appear under the tree... And Mum and Nasha put the cards up on strings today...
Drivel!

Lots of you lot are vegetablearians (or vegan), aren't you? So what do you nom your way through when the rest of us are stuffing our faces with turkey and pig, and salmon on boxing day, and pate in between leftovers, and more cheese than you could shake a cornish wafer at?

Well, I'm not a vegan and really not a vegetarian, but we have a vegetarian house and I can't really cook meat well because I've never needed to. We're having a home-made Nut Roast as part of a trad roast dinner. Cheese is always an option (as long as it's veggie). And Merry Christmas to ye all. :]

I've had a house full of presents since last Friday and I haven't opened any of them yet. I think this shows remarkable self discipline on my part. I also have a growing bag of birthday cards and presents which have to wait til New Year's Eve, and I haven't opened any of those either. Does this mean I'm all grown up and responsible now? Bloody hell, I'm nearly 34. I think I need to go and have a lie down....

Haha oh dear...I've already opened two of my prezzies. lol
I so cannot be bothered.
Today I've got to make a cheesecake and a trifle plus a cashew nut roast. I was also going to make a sponge cake as I dislike fruit cake.
I might not bother! Christmas! What a load of old ****.
I think I'd be happier if we were having proper celebrations. In the future I'll have parties and not invite you-know-who. Not having her evil ways in my future house.
I also need to scrub the birds so they are glowing when Santa gets here. lol

It is 1010 and my Christmas cheer has already gone.
I got lots of sweets from Santa.
Plus a foot spa and some nail varnish so I'll have nice feeties in 2011 anyway.

Nut roasts and veg forever! Or quorn. Or things that make you windy. Okay, I lied, something with wine sauce, chestnut mushrooms, posh veg. Saw the folks today, dragged Darkness along. Managed to tick all the Christmas Day boxes. Two thirds of my presents are utterly ace. After too many random worries, the day went well. (Couldn't help remembering last night's Peep Show!)
