The batman stuff is priceless. Batgirl or Catwoman - mmm - choices.  Kitsch and quips. Yep, been to that Barbarella site - isn't she lovely? - the French sites seem to be the only ones which recognise that the Barbarella film was based on the comic strip (possibly because the artist was French ) Planet of the Apes was a French strip before they made the films. I even have a copy. 1960s-70s sci-fi art - Most curious. |

I didn't realise that. I assumed that it was the novel by Pierre Boulle was the original source. I used to love the bonkers cartoon version.
Remember about 5 years ago when John Glenn went back into space on the shuttle? There was a meme that went around, to the effect that we had just 7 days to all buy gorilla suits and bury the statue of liberty up to its neck in sand. Well, it made me laugh.
