Someone bought me flowers and being a resourceful student I got over the problem of not having a vase.

I think C. Uber and I should have a Bamboo draw-off. We'll start with triangles and progress to circles and then maybe even stick men! ;D

I'm still surprised at how difficult drawing with the Bamboo is. I haven't done anything useful with it at all. Oh, that's not true. I used it for some diagrams for biology coursework...

That's a practical use. Shocking that it was for a Science though! Art tools for art! I caught part of the Gadget Show the other day and they workshop several strange arty peripherals products (including a touch screen pen), and the group voted that they preferred the Bamboo Fun - so I felt vindicated (but still unskilled). It's fun for colouring in with, but I guess I've got to find the right software and style for it to work best before I throw normal pen and paper away (or I have to practice loads). It's much easier for colouring in with than a mouse or track pad though. I had a shock the other day. Paint Shop Pro was treating the track pad as pressure sensitive - and would slow or increase the flow/rate of the paint accordingly. Far to much subtly for my liking!

I've found it to be better for playing mouse games than a track pad...

Ace. I noticed that in Vista there seems to be a few pen based games - are you running Vista?

Is there ever a danger that the birds might collectively turn on their human masters and devour your family on a random Tuesday morning after becoming jealous over the cereal?
