Mm I'm going to get a KFC. You know why they don't call it Kentucky Fried Chicken any more? It's because there isn't enough chicken in it. It's all floor scrapings and ground up feet.

Most of the farming in great Britian(sp) is factory farms the reason for this is because it is cheaper for the farmer. If it was natural the meat most of the year there would be not enough milk or meat or eggs available so of course they have to do cruel things to the poor never done anything wrong animals. Eggs are far far from healthy specially the shop brought so called free range eggs. A healthy egg comes from a happy chicken and most chickens of today are far from happy. If the RSPCA cared so much about farm animals then why would they say McDonalds treated their animals humanly? Why would they put a happy logo on chickens that are crowded in there thousands of tiny farms? im sorry but that is a pile of bullshit. do you know how much of britains egg, milk and meat industry goes to waste each year because people will no longer eat "real" food and feel that a cheap alternative is better? thousands of litres of milk are wasted, millions of eggs are destroyed all because consumers want cheaper products and the only way for factory farming to be economical is to farm in large amounts! eggs are healthy! they contain omega 3 which is needed for healthy developement. they are a hbv protein food as they contain all 11 essential amino acids that are vital for growth and repair. they contain a healthy amount of fat too. and im not even going to bother replying to the last comment, i need proof that that happens as i have NEVER seen it.

Hey well I won't comment, I like my head... But at least the UK is better than a lot of other countries. I mean... we don't use live dogs as bait to catch sharks, anyway.

Eggs are bad for you, meat is bad for you, cheese is bad for you heck air is bad for you. But hey we're all going to die someday, I can live with (heh) food bringin about my demise a little early if it means I get to enjoy eating food I like.

I think everything can be bad in some way or another.

I took food at GCSE.
Animal produce has some good thing in it but there are healthier options that have the same nutrients with out the saturated fats or the colestoral or the hormones or whatever.

Seriously if everyone became vegan then world hunger would be less likely. Not eating anything animal is MUCH better. Nearly all animals these days are factory farmed. Or maybe the animals are happy. If I was a cow I'd love not being able to move and having leg pains from standing on concrete and having my tits pumped every day. I don't really care it is up to you if you want to believe the animals you eat are all happy and shit about being locked up.

However... if you abided by all the rules of the nanny state - less than 6g of salt, two oily fish a week, trying to eat vegan as well as all the rest, you'd go nuts trying to work out what you actually could eat. I would anyway. Maybe I just don't have the will-power.

Yea mainly the bad things are in animal products anyway. I hate always being the only vegan people always take advantage.

You're in the minority? Lol reading through this I actually thought everyone seemed to be veggie or vegan on this forum! I think it's really admirable that you have these morals - I really admire people that do because I don't have any myself ;D What I don't like is veggies/vegans who go around telling everyone ELSE what they should or shouldn't eat. I will allow you to not eat meat, so you should allow me to eat it (NOT aimed at anyone here, I promise!) Anyway, so back to randomness. I ate a corn on the cob with chopsticks the other day.
