The chicken I had for dinner smelt a bit funny. Ate it anyway. Living life on the wild side!

After a whole packed I still can't tell if I like rice cakes or they do only taste like polystyrene

That does sound odd! I've been having them with dairylea. I'm also recently addicted to malt loaf, especially the apple one

Rice cakes taste a little better if you get the slightly salted ones, but the texture is still very polystyrene-like. Having them with cottage cheese is quite nice.

Kalko rice cakes are cool.
(Make you fart more air than hot air Balloon festival, though.)

I wrote to the company and explained that every fart was an artistic creation - they could have sponsored me! The fools! Sorry, I feel as if I've sullied the food thread ...

I haven't had carrot cake in aaaaaaaages. ____ Darkness keeps insisting that we drink hot tea whilst watching Wimbledon. *feeling way too English in the heat, politely cheering on a Scotsman*

No, if he'd lost we'd refer to him as a Scotsman. As he won, we call him British.....

There's a new Italian deli in MH. We bought chinotto (which has now been drunk yum yum yum) and grissini and nice cheese and I'm kind of in love I need a job. So I can spend money in the Italian deli...

What does chinotto taste like?

I would like a job that is very few hours, pays very very well and does not make me sicker. I may have to settle.
Chinotto is wonderful. It's made from a very bitter brown citrus fruit. It's brown like cola, but tastes better. Proper Italian Chinotto tastes strongly of quinine and it's bitter and wonderful. It's hard to find find Chinotto that strong in England. The sort they had in the Italian deli is stronger than the San Pelligrino stuff but not as strong as the stuff I had in Italy. It tastes kind of similar to root beer, or dandelion and burdock.

Well make sure you go through Access to Work and get support when you do find employment. I mention is as so many people don't know it exists...it pretty much provides same support as Disabled Student Allowance.
Oh right. Sounds like a migraine in a bottle for me. lol
