I guess you have to dress with class but not to draw attention (remember to take an umbrella ) - also shoes you can walk in or won't be ruined by grass/mud if the ceremony is outdoors. |

Bretton Hall was a really cool environment for a Summer Ball. I think I've gone on about it before, my parents weren't that interested (Dad hands out degrees all the time) - it was in Leeds, they were charging a fortune for gowns - and at the time I somehow thought the ceremony was an archaic throw-back to class/religious/pomp/pretentious paraphanalia which somehow alienated people from going to college. Man, I was being dumb. It's a right of passage, and I never did get "closure" on my degree - or whatever, ha. It's ironic, because I love dressing up and all that stuff. |

Omg I'm so stressed. I have a "Practical Husbandry Task" assignment in for 2nd lesson on Thursday and it is research and I haven't got any research what am I gonna do? I guess I can ask some people see if they have it. I want the distinction in "Animal Handling" but if I decide to skip the merit and distinction section on this assignment I'll only get a pass.
And there is also a re-take in for "Nursing" tomorrow and I don't know what to do on it.

Make a plan of the projected food consumption for 1 month for the animals at college. Count the number of animals, and work out how much each animal eats each day, calculate how much of each type of food would be needed to feed the animals.
Price up the food costage for one year for one of the animal houses. Next estimate the costage for bedding etc for a year...next see how much vet bills costs per year...
how do college dispose of waste?
I mean what a stupid pointless topic...good haven't they got any imagination?  I think it is time for me to start making it up and see if I can get away with it.

I guess you have to start with a spread sheet with lots of titles and it doesn't matter what the actual figures are - as long as you are aware of all the requirements of the animals. Calculate how much an animal eats each day? Reminds me of a maths problem with a goat and the lawn. |
