Hello March! Newmonthedness. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March"In ancient Rome, March was called Martius, so named after the Roman god of war and was considered a lucky time to begin a war." So now would be a good time to pick an argument ... (but surely it's lucky for the opposition too?) __ Remind me, where does Mad as a March Hare come from?

Is March the hare mating season?
Ohhhh... The grand old duke of york, He had ten thousand men, he marched them up to the top of the hill, And he marched them down again.
Etc.

March 1st brings an excess of leek based food stuffs, serious amounts of nylon daffodils attached to peoples clothing and majorly dodgy 'traditional dress' outfits are forced onto unsuspecting children.....in the land of Welshesss! x

Tradtional dress - the most humiliating and cruel punishment on the young. That as well already being Welsh! (Hey 'Tania! )

Yes, you would think the little darlings would be traumatised enough without being made to wear red and black checked dresses, with copious quantities of lace and extremely over-sized black hats! Bless!

Excellent ... I used to do long sword dancing - I can't remember if we had to wearing knee length breaches or not. It was generally considered not something one would boast about.
