Well, yes, ;D being a really old game you don't have any jumping - it's just run and shoot. (I'm rubbish at jumping in all games. Hey I fixed a button on a Sega Megadrive gamepad at the project today. Took it apart and cleaned up the contacts. Usually they don't work after I do things like that. No more arguing with Ross about not being able to jump in Altered Beast.

The card game, Pazaak in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic kept me up late last night. It's a space version of Blackjack. (21 or Bust) ______ Ross and I reached the third level of Altered Beast on the Sega in a few moments of leisure at the project yesterday (I swear he was almost sober). Power-Up!

I pasted it here, as opposed to a link, because most of the sites which in the search had lots of pop-up adverts. Sometimes I reckon if you've bought a game for £40 and you're struggling, the odd cheat at least, lets you see later parts of the game that you might never see. If we had pay-per-play/level-completion, games for me would be very cheap.

That man is such a classic Civ player. He's obsessed with struggling empires, resources, political stale mates. I think in The Crow Road - or one of his real-world novels he has a character who's computer is confiscated and when he gets it back he finds the empire in a game-world has crumbled (or the game is wiped). Naturally he is distraught. As we all would be. I'm currently in Medieval Total War denial. I like peace.
