Ignores "camp" joke. Winks at out of context Quo quote. Giggles with perhaps a little jealousy at the Zen appreciation society ... tries to think of a pun about attaining Nirvana but realises own brain is not up to it today...

Today I'll be mostly listenning to a compilation thrust upon me by DAT500: Waits, Walker, Gira & Cave "Love Letters From the Abyss" Disc 1 & 2 - trying to go cold turkey on Damien Rice. I'll be presenting these compilations in some dirty Day-Glo advert on Challenge TV in ten years. "Remember when you were suicidal? Relive those wonderful moments from the comfort of your own Ipiddle neural interface". On the listening front: The postman brought me presents! Nick Cave's triple CD Boxset B-sides/rarities The Angels of Light Sing "Other People" - a bit poo on first listen. All The Way - Jimmy Scott (from around the same time as his fantastic Twin Peaks performance). One From The Heart - Crystal Gale and Tom Waits; I've hesitated on this one for some years, as I'm not a huge fan of Gale's voice, but it's probably Waits most relaxing, accessible album and contains lines like, "Looks like you spent the night in a trench. And tell me, How long have you been combing your hair with a wrench?" All good music for constructing Tie Bombers too.

And dont worry, I always have Roger Waters. Currently listenning to: Perfect Sense, Roger Waters. ;D Man! Is it time for the Emotional SAS to come and rescue you? They chuck rose petals through the windows and gently break in, leaving chocolate and delicate black and white romantic films at the foot of your bed. Maybe that’s why Sid Barrett went mad? Roger Waters freaked him out too much. “It’s all downhill from now, Sid”, “f?ck that, Rog, I’m taking all this LSD and singing songs about my pantaloons, you miserablist!”* [EDIT GK: * Link contains violent image- poss trig-double ew ]
